Job Description
The successful candidate will be an excellent manager, a consensus builder, a skillful communicator and collaborator, who embraces technology and is committed to maintaining a strong staffing team. Our desired candidate will possess skills in understanding complex policy issues in the areas of mental health, developmental disabilities and substance abuse disorders, along with the ability and passion to work on legislative issues.

Responsibilities include maintaining a strong partnership with the boards, implementing policy, managing finances and personnel, promoting the profession, increasing membership, providing support to committees and maintaining strong relationship with various partner organizations.

Advanced computer skills are required, including word processing, database management, spreadsheet, web-based applications and internet research. Proficiency with Word, Excel and QuickBooks are preferred. Experience in healthcare, particularly behavioral health, is preferred. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s or Doctoral level preferred. The salary range is from $75,000-$100,000 plus generous benefits.
