Lake Erie Canopy Tours Launches 2021 Season on June 21

Lake Erie Canopy Tours will launch the 2021 season on Monday, June 21, that include the Zipline Canopy Tour and Adult Adventure Course combination package and the Kids Adventure Courses—along with golf cart, pedal boat and kayak rentals. Located adjacent to The Lodge at Geneva-on-the-Lake, Lake Erie Canopy Tours spans 25 acres of Geneva State Park with thrills for riders of all ages.

2021 season schedule

  • Boats available every day from now to Oct. 31
    • 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Golf Carts available every day from May 14 to Oct. 31
    • 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Zipline Canopy Tours and Adventure Courses available from June 21 to Oct. 31
    • 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    • June, September and October: open Thursday – Monday
    • July and August: open every day

“Lake Erie Canopy Tours attractions offer a variety of ways to immerse yourself in nature and enjoy a spectacular view of Lake Erie, whether you’re staying at The Lodge or making a day trip,” said General Manager Charlene Horgan. “It’s a great drivable getaway for couples, groups and families of all ages.” 

Zipline Canopy Tours and Adventure Courses for zips and thrills
The Zipline and Adventure Course Combo Package includes:

  • The full Zipline Canopy Tour with multiple zipline sections, includes two side-by-side zip sections, swinging sky bridges and several treetop towers up to 60 feet tall. A continuous belay system helps ensure rider safety.  
  • The Adult Adventure Course offers a two-hour, self-guided adventure for individuals, families, work teams and other spirited groups. With staff to monitor and assist. Course highlights include the Wheelhouse Tower, Shiver Me Timbers!, Rum Runner's Route and Peg Leg's Plight, along with an optional daring freefall rappel.
  • The Zipline and Adventure Course Combination package is $139 per person.

Half-Zipline Canopy Tour offers views with velocity
The Half-Zipline Canopy Tour is a great way to get the feel for the course that zips through the trees and offers spectacular lakeside views at speeds of up to 30 mph. The Half-Zip experience is $79 per person.

The Landlubbers Kids Adventure Course for the younger set
Short ziplines, cool climbing features, guided activities and more await adventurous youngsters ages 4 to 10. The self-guided Kids Adventure Course is $29 per person, and includes one-hour access to kid-sized ziplines and rope obstacles with its own continuous belay system to help ensure safety as well as staff on hand to assist and monitor.

Reservations recommended, but not required. Guests and groups of up to eight people can purchase tickets by calling 866-601-1973 or visiting https://www.lakeeriecanopytours.com/tours-and-pricing. Must be 15 to zip without an adult; parent or guardian must be on the property. Discounts are available for groups of ten or more.

Boat and golf cart rentals
Pedal boat and kayak rentals at the Lake Erie Canopy Tours’ dock offer visitors a perspective of Lake Erie and Geneva State Park in seasonal splendor as zippers fly overhead, with journeys along Cowles Creek, a Lake Erie tributary. Single Kayaks are available to rent for $25 per hour, Tandem Kayaks are $40 per hour and Swan Pedal Boats (can hold up to two adults and two children) are $40 per hour.

Golf cart rental, located at the Lake Erie Canopy Tours Welcome Center, give guests a convenient way to experience the center of Geneva-on-the-Lake Strip and other nearby attractions. Golf cart rental is $150 per day with a $250 refundable deposit. Reservations can be made online, by calling 866-601-1973, or via walk-in (limited availability).
