Ohio Restaurants Raise Prices Amid Hiring Problems and Supply Chain Woes

ORA CEO said Ohio eateries probably raised prices by 4 percent

Longtime patrons of Barrel and Boar, a Columbus restaurant chain, likely noticed steeper bills over the last few months. Stan Riley, a member of the family that owns the chain, said prices went up between 15% and 20%.

Barrel and Boar, which has locations in Canal Winchester, Gahanna, Newark, the North Market and Westerville, is known for its barbecue and has a menu heavy on meat. Unfortunately, for the local chain, the price of animal protein skyrocketed during COVID.
