COVID-19 Update: 7,793 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 7,793 new cases of COVID-19 and 192 new hospitalizations. The agency didn't report any additional deaths.

ODH also reported 1,725,649 confirmed cases, 26,851 deaths and 87,696 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,580,417 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,806,362 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents approximately 58 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
