COVID-19 Update: 5,618 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 5,618 new cases of COVID-19 and 252 new hospitalizations. The agency did not report any additional deaths.

ODH also reported 1,787,029 confirmed cases, 27,371 deaths and 90,368 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,626,378 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,867,725 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents approximately 58.7 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
