COVID-19 Update: 7,639 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 7,639 new cases of COVID-19 and 59 new hospitalizations. The agency reported no additional deaths.

ODH also reported 1,847,140 confirmed cases, 28,028 deaths and 92,519 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,663,413 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,915,778 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents approximately 59 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
