COVID-19 Update: 8,082 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 8,082 new cases of COVID-19 and 199 new hospitalizations. The agency reported no additional deaths.

ODH also reported 1,855,222 confirmed cases, 28,028 deaths and 92,718 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,669,186 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 6,919,369 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents approximately 59 percent of Ohioans - a very low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
