COVID-19 Update: 6,498 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 6,498 new COVID-19 cases and 552 new hospitalizations.

The agency also reported 466 additional deaths.

ODH also reported 2,586,903 confirmed cases, 33,537 deaths and 107,922 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,278,626 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,169,645 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine. This figure represents 61 percent of Ohioans - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide.
