What Job Hunters Really Want

Forty-three percent of women seek to cut workplace stress

With millions of Americans looking to switch jobs these days, what key factors are goading people to break away? And how much do these motivations vary for female vs. male workers?

Dig into LinkedIn’s latest edition of the Workforce Confidence survey —and you’ll see the powerful blend of hope and frustration that keeps fueling the Great Reshuffle. The analysis draws upon responses from 26,537 LinkedIn members, polled between Dec. 4, 2021 and Feb. 11, 2022.

Another one-fifth or so of respondents didn’t signal a clear response.
