COVID-19 Update: 1,612 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 1,612 new COVID-19 cases and 147 new hospitalizations.

The agency reported 313 additional deaths from COVID.

The ODH also reported 2,651,304 confirmed cases, 36,580 deaths and 112,203 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,572,350 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,221,533 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure remains at 61 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide. The national figure is 76.1 percent.
