COVID-19 Update: 829 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 829 new COVID-19 cases and 51 new hospitalizations.

The agency did not report any additional deaths from COVID.

The ODH also reported 2,661,557 confirmed cases, 37,212 deaths and 113,002 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,602,084 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,246,279 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure represents nearly 62 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide. The national figure is 76.6 percent.
