True-up Online Reporting Opens July 1

Reports must be completed by August 15

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) true-up online report will be available on July 1, 2022. At the end of the policy year, the BWC must ensure the estimated premium it set for your organization was correct. 

To do this, you must file a true-up report that reflects the actual payroll for that policy year. You must complete the report online using the Payroll True-up report service offering by August 15, 2022.

If your true-up payroll exceeds the estimated payroll, you will owe additional premium. If your true-up payroll is less than your estimated payroll, you'll receive a premium credit.

An employer must submit a payroll true-up report even if it has zero payroll.
