The Foundation's Holiday Luncheon & Silent Auction Will Be In-person This Year!
This year, the Foundation Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Holiday Luncheon & Silent Auction will be an in-person vent this year!
The 2021 Foundation Holiday Luncheon & Silent Auction is open, and it will culminate on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021 when OSAP leadership will welcome everyone to the Embassy Suites Dublin for this traditional holiday event. More details about that are coming! We're very excited for what lies ahead.

The Ohio Society of Association Professionals Foundation (OSAPF) has held an annual silent auction since the winter of 2017. Prior to 2017, the silent auction and holiday luncheon was part of the Ohio Society of Association Professionals (OSAP) annual calendar. Yet, the Foundation began to oversee the Silent Auction as its no. 1 fundraising event of the year. This was done for a host of reasons - but the main one was to give back to our members and Ohio's association community-at-large.
You see, prior to 2017, OSAP had worked with other charitable organizations to assist them with fundraising. Yet, the organization realized that we were helping others outside of our own association community. Given this and the never-ending need of our members to have access to quality education, the Board voted to form the OSAP Foundation to handle these needs and help "pay it forward." Thus, the organization went to work to create the OSAP Foundation, which supports and advances the needs of association professionals and industry thought-leaders in Ohio.
One of the most critical roles that our organization serves is the development of the best talent in association management for Ohio-based organizations. In addition to providing growth opportunities through ongoing educational events throughout the year, OSAP offers two important leadership development programs: The Shane Yates Aspiring Leadership Institute, named for the late OSAP Executive Director Shane Yates, and the OSAP Association Leadership Summit. While these already serve our association community's future, there is always more OSAP wants to do with these programs through more nationally-recognized speakers and instructors and by expanding the numbers of those who can join the programs.
The Ohio Society of Association Professionals Foundation (OSAPF), a 501(c)3 organization, was established in January 2017 in part to provide ever greater resources to sustain and enhance those two critical programs. Support from members like you is key in realizing our ambitions.
