Heading to ASAE’s 2025 Annual Meeting & Exposition in Los Angeles next month? Make sure to include one of this year’s most important sessions on your agenda: a special policy briefing on the major victories secured for associations and nonprofits in the sweeping tax legislation signed into law by President Donald Trump last week.

The Tomorrow’s Workforce Coalition, in which OSAP has been engaged for several years, championed the inclusion of a key workforce development provision that expands the use of 529 education savings plans to cover postsecondary training, licenses, and nongovernmental certifications — a win for upskilling the association and nonprofit workforce.
