Ohio Third Frontier Advances Healthcare Innovation

The program is a leader in medical innovation

The Ohio Third Frontier Commission this week approved $3.8 million in funding that will provide capital to technology startup companies, many in the medical field, further solidifying Ohio as the leader in health care innovation.
 
The commission also committed to the continued support of the Diversity & Inclusion Technology Internship Program, helping companies fill their technology needs, building Ohio’s workforce and growing the state’s inclusive tech economy.
 
“Ohio’s global reputation as a leader in medical innovation will grow even stronger with the development of these new technologies and breakthroughs,” said Lydia Mihalik, director of the Ohio Development Services Agency and chair of the Ohio Third Frontier Commission. “In addition, our investment in young talent will ensure these companies have the workforce they need to continue to grow and innovate here in Ohio."
