The booming housing market has led average home values to rise nationwide
The average Ohio homeowner is $21,600 wealthier – at least on paper – than they were a year ago, according to a new report that measures the jump in home values throughout the country.
The booming housing market has led average home values to rise 19.6% nationwide from the first quarter of 2020 to the first quarter of 2021, the biggest jump in at least a decade, according to the report by the real-estate and mortgage service CoreLogic.
In real money, that's an average of $33,400 for each U.S. homeowner.
