COVID-19 Update: 185 New Cases Reported Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 579 new cases of COVID-19. The agency reported 35 additional deaths.

ODH also reported 1,112,095 confirmed cases, 20,344 deaths and 60,662 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 1,084,795 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 5,578,940 people had received at least one dose of the vaccine, as of July 1. 

The statewide incidence rate was 19.6 new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents during the past two weeks. That's down from 21.4 last Thursday.
