COVID-19 Update: 799 Newly Confirmed Cases Today

Today, the Ohio Department of Health (ODH) reported 799 new COVID-19 cases and 84 new hospitalizations.

The agency also reported 194 additional deaths from COVID.

The ODH also reported 2,660,728 confirmed cases, 37,212 deaths and 112,951 hospitalizations. The agency also reported 2,600,197 presumed recoveries and indicated approximately 7,236,417 Ohioans have received at least one dose of the vaccine; this figure remains at 61.9 percent - a low figure compared to numbers nationwide. The national figure is 76.4 percent.
