Managing the four employee archetypes

Throughout my career at companies like Gusto and Uber, I've learned that building a successful team is not just about hiring the best talent but also about understanding different types of employees and how to manage them effectively.

In my experience, there are four main archetypes of employees: Builders, Busy Bees, Bullies and Believers.

To be successful, you have to know who you're dealing with and how to orchestrate the differing archetypes.
