Benefits and Compensation Studies
A New Resource for OSAP Members
OSAP, in partnership with the Association Societies Alliance (ASA), has developed and provided members with access to a Compensation and Benefits Study in various forms over the past 15 years.
These reports - a state report and a national one - provide members with insights that help them develop proper compensation for all members of their team and also to educate their volunteer leaders on whether their organizations are in-line with state and national compensation standards.
Recently, via the ASA relationship, OSAP partnered with Gallagher Benefits Services to provide benchmarking data and analytics that drive decision-making for associations of all sizes. Understanding where your association stands in terms of compensation and benefits is essential to attracting, retaining and rewarding top talent.
Critical insights tailored specifically for associations:
- Benchmark with Confidence: Access real data from peer associations, so you can compare your salary and benefits packages with industry standards, ensuring you are competitive in today's labor market.
- Make Data-driven Decisions: With detailed insights on compensation trends, benefit offerings and total rewards strategies, you will have the data needed to craft packages that align with employee expectations and organizational goals.
- Support Organizational Growth: Compensation is one of the biggest factors in employee satisfaction. By optimizing your offerings, you’re positioning your association to attract and retain high-caliber professionals, which translates to greater stability and growth.
- Navigate Today’s Talent Landscape: The survey covers evolving benefits that matter most to today’s workforce, giving you a road map for a compelling employment brand.
What you will receive:
- Survey insights to stay competitive, support your team and drive success including:
- Compensation information for 35+ job classifications
- Offers comparisons based on salaries, budget sizes, staff size and membership size
- National summary and state-by-state comparisons
- Retirement, insurance and health benefits, including staff and CEO-specific data
- Contract conditions, performance review and bonus summaries. Compensation by scope of operations, membership structure and staff size
BONUS ALERT: You will also receive access to Gallagher’s National Compensation Survey that provides detailed compensation data from the overall labor market for common positions, so organizations will be able to see salary rates both in the association specific market and the larger labor market outside of associations. This alone would be worth the price of admission for many organizations.
