I recently returned from a vacation celebrating my parents' 50^th wedding anniversary. To mark the occasion, they brought our family together for a week aboard Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas, including my brothers, sisters-in-law, daughter and several nieces and nephews.

I had anticipated nothing more than time with family and a chance to relax. Instead, I came home with several nuggets that are a recipe for success for every company.
