Ohio Education Association, Lorain Schools Staff Donate to Support District Food Pantries

Lorain Schools staff donated thousands of food items to support two food pantries within its elementary school buildings.

After a two-week food drive, staff collected items to be split between the food pantries at Garfield and Larkmoor elementaries.

The nonperishable items were accompanied by a donation of more than $1,700 from the Ohio Education Association (OEA). Secretary-Treasurer Rob McFee brought the check to the district Friday morning.
