Ohio Immigration Assistance Hotline Receives 500 Calls in First Year, Report Finds

Since 2007, the Ohio Immigrant Alliance (OIA) has been offering services to support immigrants in the Buckeye State.

The group's executive director, Lynn Tramonte, said in late 2024, they decided to create a hotline to streamline calls from across the state.

"If you have a question, if you're worried about going to an appointment, if you need to know who are the best immigration lawyers in my region," she said.
