The Ohio History Center Museum Is Closed Now throuugh Early December

The Ohio History Center museum in Columbus will be closed through early December for necessary building-system upgrades. Its priority is ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, volunteers and collections while allowing this work to move forward without interruption.

According to a post on Facebook, all events at the Ohio History Center through December are postponed and will be rescheduled when possible.

The museum's Archives & Library will reopen by appointment only beginning Oct. 8; the organization's upcoming events in Ohio Village, All Hallows' Eve on Oct. 17 and 24 and Holidays at Ohio Village on Dec. 11 and 12, will proceed as scheduled.

The organization said it plans to provide additional updates in December.
