Ashtabula County Commissioner Casey Kozlowski has been elected vice president of the County Commissioners Association of Ohio's (CCAO) board of directors by his fellow commissioners during the association's annual business meeting, which was held in December 2025.

CCAO represents Ohio's 88 county boards of commissioners and serves as the leading statewide organization advocating for counties at the Ohio General Assembly and with state agencies. The association provides legislative advocacy, policy development, legal support and professional education to help counties deliver efficient and effective local government services.

As vice president, Kozlowski will serve in a key leadership role, helping guide the association's policy priorities, supporting county commissioners across Ohio and advancing issues impacting local governments, including public safety, infrastructure, workforce development and fiscal responsibility.
