I'm a professional coach who loves mentoring others. When doing so, though, I try not to give advice, even when they ask. Do you believe giving advice should be avoided when helping someone else determine their actions? —“The Careful Coach”
I ponder this a lot. On one hand, depending on who we're coaching, what we're coaching and our level of expertise, we may have vastly more experience than our partner. This doesn't mean we have all the answers, but it does give us valuable experience and an ability to identify blind spots.
