Businesses and nonprofits serving the immigrant community are feeling the impact of increased Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) presence in central Ohio.
At the Our Helpers Community Free Store, shelves that were once full are now largely empty as demand has surged beyond typical levels.
On Monday, 35 volunteers filled 100 boxes and bags with food to deliver to immigrant families staying home.
