ODH Warns of Possible Measles Exposure at John Glenn Columbus International Airport
The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) is warning that those who were at John Glenn Columbus International Airport last Wednesday may have been exposed to measles.
ODH Director Bruce Vanderhoff says people who were at the airport between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Feb. 18 may have been exposed.
Since the beginning of the month, six cases of measles have been identified in Franklin County, all involving children between the ages of 1 and 5. Vanderhoff says five of the cases are associated with an outbreak from two households. Vanderhoff said the sixth case is the case involved in the potential exposure at the Columbus airport and it involved international travel.
