Ohio Begins Process to Eliminate E-Check Testing across Northeast Ohio

Governor Mike DeWine announced Tuesday that he directed the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to begin the process to end the E-Check vehicle testing programs in Northeast Ohio.

Carlatta Adams, who opposes the E-Check program, said some people cannot afford to get their cars fixed and called the testing a hassle.

"Some people can't afford to get things fixed on their car and it's just a big hassle; they should have cut that out a long time ago," Adams said.
