Ohio BWC Mails Estimated Annual Premium Letters

Recently, the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (BWC) mailed letters to employers outlining their estimated annual premium for the policy year beginning July 1, 2026. Active policies also received an updated certificate for the upcoming policy year. Employers should watch for these mailings, as they contain important information.

If an employer needs to update their estimated payroll or adjust their installment schedule, they can contact BWC for assistance. Employers have until May 15, 2026 to make changes to their installment schedule. The announcement the BWC sent was dated after the deadline the agency provided for employer contact requirements.

The first invoice for the 2026 policy year will be mailed in June.
