You Don't Have to Meet Everyone

We are about a month away from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) Annual Meeting & Exposition—the annual gathering of thousands of association professionals, which is happening in Indianapolis.

Over the past few weeks, I've had several conversations with people who are genuinely excited to reconnect with colleagues… and, in the very next breath, admit they're already dreading the networking receptions.

If that feels contradictory, I don't think it is.
