Unclear Job Expectations Are a Clear Recipe for Problems

Recently, I was speaking with someone about her experience as an employee for a large organization in the corporate world. Her main enemy was that it was confusing and she never really knew what was expected of her.

Even though her management thought highly of her, she did not like the job; she found it stressful and ended up leaving that environment and choosing to do a more physical type of work where at least there was no uncertainty about what the job entailed.

Enemy of Satisfaction

This story isn't unusual. Lack of clarity is a major enemy of job satisfaction.
